To our valued patients,


In accordance with CDC, American Optometric Association, and Kansas Optometric Association recommendation regarding routine eye exams, Manhattan Eye Care has made the difficult decision to limit patient exams to urgent/emergent vision issues.


If you require urgent or emergent care, appointments will be available. Please contact our office for these eye care issues and try to avoid going to urgent care or emergency rooms.


We will have a limited staff available in office to handle order pick-ups, repairs, phone calls and other patient needs. When arriving at our office for an order pick-up or need other than a scheduled appointment, we are asking that patients call or text when they arrive at our office (785-537-2420) but please remain in their car. We will bring these items to your car instead of you entering the building when possible.


If you are scheduled for a yearly examination or non-urgent/emergent vision issue we will be contacting you to reschedule these appointments on a weekly


We appreciate your patience with us as our office procedures may be changing as CDC recommendations evolve. Please know that while some changes may be inconvenient, they are truly being made with everyone's best interest in mind. We are hopeful that in a few weeks this will all feel unnecessary and we will be able to return to life as normal! We will reassess the situation on Friday March 27th and keep you posted via e-mail, website, and Facebook.
